Title

AWS Serverless Architecture Based Automated Tracking System

Abstract

In organizations and educational institutions, tracking attendance is frequently a laborious, manual procedure that is prone to mistakes. This paper connects AWS services for effective processing and reporting, and it uses Google Sheets as a data source to automate attendance tracking. The system uses AWS Lambda and AWS SES to extract attendance data, compute attendance percentages, and automatically send reports to class organizers. Users can also request on-demand reports and filter attendance data by date range using a web interface developed using Django. Additionally, the solution integrates AWS S3 for data backup and EventBridge for scheduled reporting. This technology stack can be used in a variety of industries, such as corporate training and education, because it decreases manual labor, improves accuracy, and offers real-time information.
