Alumni associations platform play a critical role in maintaining lifelong connections between graduates and their alma mater, providing opportunities for networking, mentorship, and philanthropic support. Monitoring alumni is a challenging task for every long-established institution of higher education. Since 2004, the Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS) has provided undergraduate and master's programs. The alumni database of the department is poorly administered and outdated. This study elucidates a web-based system that consolidates alumni data into a meticulously organised database and serves as a portal for alumni to update their current status and access online alumni yearbooks. The objective of this research is to facilitate and streamline the monitoring of the department's graduates. A significant number of department alumni have used the web-based portal to update their information, starting with the first cohorts. The quality of academic programs in higher education is essential for cultivating graduates with profound competence. Factors impacting this including curriculum design, resource availability, and ongoing enhancement. Quality assurance standards need the involvement of stakeholders like as alumni, employers, and professional organisations to improve academic programs [1]. An information system is suggested to monitor data on graduating students and its effect on the improvement and innovation of academic programs
