Using This project presents a system for detecting missing persons using video processing and facial recognition technology. By analyzing video footage and comparing it with known images, the system identifies individuals with high accuracy using Python libraries like OpenCV and face_recognition. A user-friendly interface built with Tkinter allows easy upload of images and videos, with real-time alerts and visual feedback on matches. The system aims to support law enforcement and rescue teams by reducing manual search efforts and improving response times. Future improvements may include location tracking and mobile app integration for wider application.
