In the digital age, educational institutions are increasingly recognizing the value of maintaining strong connections with their alumni. This paper presents a Phase 1 report on the development of an interactive Alumni Portal using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The platform aims to facilitate seamless communication and engagement between alumni, current students, and administrators. Key functionalities include user registration, real-time communication, event management, job boards, and mentorship support. The design emphasizes scalability, usability, and secure data handling. The report outlines the planning, design methodology, and implementation phases, with a focus on fostering long-term relationships and mutual growth between alumni and the institution.
