The increasing competition in college admissions has made it challenging for students to determine their chances of securing admission to desired institutions. This research presents a College Prediction System Using Machine Learning, which helps students estimate their admission probability based on factors such as rank, category, quota, pool, and institute type (IIT/NIT). The system utilizes the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm to analyze historical admission data and provide predictions. The model is trained on past admission datasets and optimized for accuracy. The proposed system offers a data-driven approach to college selection, aiding students in making informed decisions.
