The Indian insurance sector plays a vital role in ensuring financial protection and stability across diverse segments. With rising competition and growing regulatory emphasis, evaluating the financial health of insurers has become increasingly important. This study aims to assess the financial performance of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd. for the financial year 2024–25 using the CARAMEL framework—an analytical model encompassing capital adequacy, asset quality, reinsurance and actuarial issues, management soundness, earnings and profitability, and liquidity. The research follows a descriptive and analytical methodology based on secondary data extracted from the company’s audited financial statements. Through ratio analysis, the study reveals strong earnings, adequate liquidity, and effective management soundness, while also highlighting areas for improvement such as capital adequacy and receivables management. The findings offer insights for stakeholders, regulators, and policyholders regarding the company’s financial strength, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability in the non-life insurance sector.
