Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed nearly every sector of the global economy, offering solutions to enhance productivity, decision-making, and collaboration. Among its most promising applications lies the development of communication skills, a cornerstone of human interaction and professional success. Traditional communication training often faces challenges of scalability, personalization, and effectiveness, particularly in increasingly digital and globalized workplaces. This paper examines the potential of AI-driven tools to bridge communication skill gaps and provide strategic pathways for upskilling the future workforce. Drawing on interdisciplinary literature, conceptual frameworks, and recent case studies, this research highlights the benefits of AI in personalized learning, cross-cultural communication, and real-time feedback. Results indicate that AI-based systems significantly enhance communication competencies, benefiting both individuals and organizations. However, ethical considerations, technological limitations, and economic barriers remain pressing concerns. This paper concludes with a call for balanced adoption, urging policymakers, educators, and business leaders to integrate AI into skill development while maintaining human-centered approaches.
