Agriculture remains a vital sector in many economies, yet traditional irrigation methods often lead to inefficiencies such as water wastage, excessive labor, and reduced crop yields. To address these challenges, this project presents a Smart Irrigation System integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies with a Flutter-based mobile application and Firebase cloud services. The system automates irrigation by monitoring real-time environmental parameters like soil moisture, temperature, humidity, sunlight, and water levels. It enables remote control and monitoring of water pumps, ensuring optimal irrigation while conserving water and energy. The system architecture includes components such as Arduino Uno, various sensors, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and a user-friendly mobile interface. This solution is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for rural or remote areas, offering farmers greater efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in agricultural practices.
