Title

Optimized Data Center Design: A Three-Step Approach to Enhancing Network Speed, Reducing Costs, and Ensuring Secure User Connections

Abstract

The model for connective data center designs requires three basic facilities: compute, storage, and network. These three elements form the core functionality of data centers, while other criteria such as redundancy, backup, tier, and layered security are dependent on specific user requirements and are not mandatory for all users. In this paper, we expand on these innovative findings. Specifically, we present a design approach for small data center services using a three-step method. This design enhances network speed, reduces costs and latency, and improves the Data Center-to-User connection service through diversity. Data centers consist of three primary components: compute, storage, and network, which are the fundamental pillars of modern data centers. Local support infrastructure plays a crucial role in ensuring trustworthy and reliable service level agreements for users. However, the original design presented in prior work contained flaws in authentication processes. In this paper, we address these shortcomings in data center design and architecture. We argue that the core of this three-component design-namely the three-step construction-results in a data center architecture that is both reliable and cost-effective.
