Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most influential technologies of the 21st century, impacting almost every domain including healthcare, education, manufacturing, finance, transportation, agriculture, and communication. With rapid advancements in machine learning, deep learning, robotics, natural language processing, and neural networks, AI systems now perform tasks that once required human intelligence. This research paper provides a comprehensive study of the advantages and disadvantages of AI in modern society. On one hand, AI enhances efficiency, accuracy, automation, innovation, and productivity across industries. On the other hand, it raises concerns related to unemployment, high development cost, data misuse, ethical dilemmas, privacy violations, and overdependence on technology. The study aims to provide an analytical understanding of AI’s dual impact and emphasizes the importance of managing AI responsibly through ethical frameworks, strict regulations, and continuous monitoring. This research concludes that AI holds enormous potential but must be developed and deployed carefully to ensure long-term social and economic benefits.
