The study investigates whether using online discussion platforms can improve writing accuracy among university students learning English as a second language (L2) in Bahrain. A group of L2 learners participated in guided online discussions over several weeks. Their writing samples, produced before and after the online interaction phase, were evaluated for grammatical accuracy and reduction of writing errors. The findings showed a noticeable improvement in students’ writing accuracy, suggesting that online discussions help students focus more on correct language use and encourage more self-editing and peer support.
