This study explores how data analytics and machine learning can transform the way used bike prices are evaluated in India: a market long challenged by inconsistent pricing, information gaps, and subjective negotiation. By analyzing a large dataset of real transactions and applying both traditional financial logic and advanced predictive models, the research uncovers patterns that go far beyond the usual assumptions of age and mileage. The project not only examines which features truly drive resale value but also questions whether modern analytical tools can outperform conventional valuation approaches. While the findings highlight surprising consumer behaviors and model performances, they also open the door to new possibilities for dealers, buyers, and financial institutions looking to bring greater transparency and efficiency into this rapidly evolving ecosystem.
