Abstract

with increasing demand for housing and buildings all over the world has resulted in consumption of significant amounts of natural resources in the form of building materials.The traditional bricks are the main building materials that are used extensively in the construction and building industry.The realization of reasons for this has created a shift towards development of sustainable building materials which need less energy in manufacturing and also in the operational cycle of the building. Autoclaved Aerated Concrete blocks are recently one of the newly adopted building materials.
