This study examines the effectiveness of employee performance appraisal systems in the Jee vee industry, Perambalur district. The research aims to identify the key factors influencing employee performance, assess the existing appraisal practices, and explore the relationship between appraisal and employee motivation. A sample of employees from various levels was selected using a stratified random sampling method. The study reveals that the current appraisal system has a significant impact on employee motivation and job satisfaction. The findings suggest that regular feedback, goal-setting, and recognition are crucial for enhancing employee performance.
