Abstract

ABSTRACT Aspiration mention to prior impression of one’s possess educational capacities and the high up degree of education an independent await to achieve. Educational aspiration has been recognised as a basic plan for open up educational aspirations in long-lasting learning procedure. This study is conducted in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, with the tribal community. Mayurbhanj is tribal populated district of Odisha. Tribals are define as a marginalise section of the society. Tribal students are belonging to the weaker section of the society. Education is a tool for renovation and social transformation of tribal. It plays a vital role in upgradation of tribals. So, there is a need to examine the educational aspirations of secondary tribal girl students. It is very much essential for students at secondary level to have high educational aspirations as it is only education that opens up new opportunities for employment, provides more security and a well satisfied life.
