This paper presents the idea of making a low cost educational Universal Kit based on Arduino UNO platform. The kit is intended to be used for teaching and learning in the embedded system laboratory. Here Arduino UNO platform has been preferred because it provides a tool for development of a test bench especially for sensors. Main advantages of Arduino are easy interface and fast processing. This paper shows a review of approaches of using different types of sensors in different situations along with their design and implementations. This paper is a comprehensive study of various research papers and the methodologies used in making of different types of embedded systems using sensors.
