Music influences, and in turn is influenced by, other disciplines. It's vital and dynamic presence in our lives lies at the heart of a multidisciplinary approach to general music. Multidisciplinary/integrated approach is very vital in the present global era because of the belief that the global world is a culturally and linguistically diverse entity that can best be understood in an integrated way. The purpose of the study was to investigate the Ph.D. Thesis awarded with special reference to the research area of Multi-Disciplinary approach of music at Panjab Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, Haryana, India (N=14) during 1998 to 2017. the final outcomes of the study can also be disseminated across the world with the publication of a book (s) and journal (s) by virtue of which the current study shall gain international denomination, recognition and profile.
