INVESTIGATION OF SPEED OF MOVEMENT BETWEEN WICKET-KEEPER, BOWLER AND BATSMAN

Abstract
Purpose of this study was to find out the difference of Speed of Movement between Wicket-Keeper, Bowler and Batsman. The sample (viz., N=33) for the contemporary study is categorized into the following groups: Group-A: Wicket-Keeper (n1=11); Group-B: Bowler (n2=11) and Group-C: Batsman (n3=11). The Nelson Speed of Movement Test was used to measure Speed of Movement. Convenience sampling were utilized for the purpose of this study. To compare the sample on the basis of “Speed of Movement”, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was employed. The results states that the f-ratio value is 0.44065. The p-value is .647718. The result is not significant at p < .05.
