The aim of this paper is to introduce a new class of normal spaces, called pigb-normal spaces by using pigb-closed and b-open sets. The relationships among pigp-normal, pigβ-normal, pigb-normal, p-normal, β-normal, gamma-normal, pi-normal,pip-normal, pigamma-normal, piβ-normal, almost normal, almost p-normal, almost gamma-normal, almost β-normal, quasi normal, quasi p-normal, quasi gamma-normal, quasi β-normal, mildly normal, mildly p-normal, mildly gamma-normal and mildly β-normal spaces are investigated. We also prove that pigb-normality is a topological property and it is a hereditary property with respect to pi-open, pigb-closed subspaces. Further we obtain a characterization and some preservation theorems for pigb-normal spaces.
