At present, India has many Platinum, Gold rated Green Buildings which are running efficiently and contributing reduction in their carbon footprint helping to save Planet, Earth. These live examples of energy efficient building demonstrating their performance give the motivation to flag the construction of more new buildings as Green Buildings. Green Hills, ONGC Tel Bhawan Campus, Dehradun, is one such examples which has incorporated relevant and latest features, of the “Green Building”. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED - INDIA) India Rating System was licensed the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has awarded this building as the prestigious ‘platinum rating’.
