Abstract: The following research study contains a study on women empowerment to develop the society. women’s empowerment is the process in which women elaborate and recreate what it is that they can be do and accomplish in a circumstance that they previously were denied. In this study descriptive survey method has been used . The sample consisted of 200 teachers from the all schools of Andhra Pradesh using stratified random sampling method. Self constructed tools were prepared and standardized and adopted for the study .the tool was used teachers to find out the opinions on women empowerment . the data were analyzed using various statistical method like mean ,sd ,t-test,and ANOVA by SPSS package .the score obtained by different groups are compared across the variable like gender designation , experience, management , location with respect of studies . the results indicated that there is a positive on women empowerment to develop society.
