the primary aim of this project is to study the properties of various trail mixes of self compacting concrete by replacing the ordinary portland cement by fly ash and silica fume. The chemical admixture called conflast sp 430 is used in this study to enhance the flow ability of the concrete. The fly ash is varied in the proportion of 0%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The silica fume is varied in the ratio of 3%, 6% and 9%.The slump flow test, V funnel test, L box test, J ring test and U box test are carried out on the self compacting concrete to study the flow ability and passing ability of the SCC. The compressive strengths of the concrete are studied by compressive strength test.
