Title

Professional Involvement Among B. Ed. Trainee Teachers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is a backbone of a progressive nation. The teacher is a pivot of education system. Teachers play key role in the whole process. The successful educational programme depends on ability of the teacher. So teacher is essential organizers of the society. Early individual is born with certain abilities and talent. In this regard teacher helps individual inlighten of his / her knowledge. The quality of education depends on social, economical, cultural reinforcement. Teaching is basically a competence building change fostering and knowledge enhancing job. This type of job has the capability to convert any human into a wise. In the context teacher depends upon the level of his job involvement and his self concept towards his profession. In this paper gives importance of professional involvement among B. Ed. trainees. The objectives of the study are to find out significant difference in the professional involvement among B. Ed. Trainees with respect to gender, location, medium of instruction, academic stress. Descriptive survey method was used and random sampling technique was employed with the sample size of B. Ed. Trainees. The major findings of the study are that there is significant difference in the profession involvement with above dimension.
