Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World located on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra and has been a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage Site since 1982. It is one among the few works of Architecture that has invited comment and attention from intellectual, visionary and poet up to the commoner. The Taj Mahal represents the finest and most sophisticated example of Mughal architecture and has taken an important place by becoming the actual symbol of India. This vast mausoleum was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The monument represents the unique blend of Persian, Islamic, and Indian architectural styles. Paper will describe the Taj Mahal as the symbol of love & romance and as an excellent magnificent architectural beauty which the monument represents
