Title

ANXETY OF THE STUDENTS STUDYING IN THE TRIBAL HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Abstract

The present study is descriptive survey in nature to find out the Anxiety level of the tribal higher secondary school students. ‘Normative Survey’ has been utilized in the present study. Sample consisted of 966 tribal higher secondary school students which includes 16 schools. Findings of this study reveal that, the level of Anxiety for the tribal higher secondary school students is high. There is no significant difference between the boys and girls for the tribal higher secondary school students based on their Anxiety. There is significant difference among the different type of management namely, government, aided and self financed schools. There is significant difference between the Tamil medium and English medium tribal higher secondary school students based on their Anxiety. There is no significant difference between the joint and nuclear family of the tribal higher secondary school students based on their Anxiety.
