Technical analysis is a method for trading on the financial markets that claims to be able to predict the future direction of a company through the analysis of historical market data, patterns of price movement, and correlations between price and volume. On the assumption that price and volume are the two most significant variables in determining the future trend and behaviour of a particular stock or market, technical analysis additionally considers into consideration the actual price and volume behaviour of the market or instruments. The investor will be thinking about which stock to buy, how much to buy, and whether to sell right away or hold onto it for a later date in order to make the most money during the trading period. Therefore, this research aids in developing pertinent discussions for day traders. The purpose of this study is to analyse the trends in the share price movements of twelve companies across three different industries from 2020 to 2021.
