Title

A Comparative Study of Job Satisfaction among Female Teachers in Government and Private Primary Education Centers in Urban Cities of Jharkhand.

Abstract

This study examines job satisfaction among female teachers in government and private primary education centers across urban areas of Jharkhand, India. Through a comparative analysis, it aims to elucidate the factors influencing job satisfaction and discern potential disparities between teachers in government and private institutions. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating surveys and interviews to gather data from a representative sample of female teachers. Quantitative analysis involves descriptive statistics and inferential tests, while qualitative data enriches understanding through thematic analysis. Results indicate significant differences in job satisfaction levels between government and private sector teachers, with factors such as salary, resources, administrative support, and opportunities for professional development playing pivotal roles. The study underscores the need for targeted interventions to address disparities and enhance job satisfaction among female teachers, thus fostering a conducive work environment conducive to quality education delivery. The findings have implications for policy formulation and institutional practices aimed at improving teacher retention and overall educational outcomes in Jharkhand's urban regions.
