The present study was undertaken to study the perception of State Level Functionaries towards Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation in Himachal Pradesh. For studying their perception, Director (Elementary Education), State Project Director and Research and Evaluation Coordinator were interviewed using interview schedule. The result of the study indicated that evaluation in schools extends to almost all the areas of learners personality development. It includes both the scholastic and co-scholastic sides of the student’s development. They further stated that this system of evaluation is helpful for both the teachers and learners. They also pointed out certain suggestions for making this system run effectively.
