Abstract

Abstract: In student’s life, any achievement is an important matter to student. It is very important matter in the academic life of student. For this, need has an important role in achieving anything. To achieve something a need creates motivation in the individual. The aim of this study is to see how Maslow’s hierarchy of need helps the student to achieve his goals. The objective of this study is to find out the relationship between hierarchy of needs and student’s achievement. The study adopts a systematic literature review methodology to analyze the existing study on Maslow’s Hierarchy Needs in student’s achievement. This method enables a structured and thorough examination of available literature. The study has revealed that, how the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs helps to student’s achievement. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs of theory is very significant in student’s academic life. In case of any learning or achieving something in life, motivation plays a pivotal role in student’s progress. Without motivation, a person cannot satisfy his needs. It can be concluded that, every person wants the full development of his inner abilities and potentialities. Every person has a need for his self-development. If the person wants to develop his self but, he does not want then he will never achieve his self potential. If the motivation of self-development can be awakened in the students, then any student will strive for better self development.
