Modern economic systems, particularly demand-side economics, are grounded in abstract reasoning that prioritizes growth and consumption. However, these models neglect the moral, spiritual, and ecological dimensions of human life. This paper argues that the disconnect between economic reasoning and ethical, spiritual "revelation"—informed by the wisdom of holy scriptures—has led to unsustainable exploitation of resources, environmental degradation, and social injustice. Drawing upon the teachings of sacred texts such as the Bible, Quran, Bhagavad Gita, and others, the paper explores how integrating divine revelation into economic decision-making can offer a holistic solution to contemporary crises. It suggests that only through a moral economy—founded on revelation—can humanity hope to restore balance and achieve true welfare, justice, and sustainability.
