Title

Internet of Things (IoT) Security: Problems and Potential Solutions in a Globally Connected Environment

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized markets by facilitating uninterrupted linkage among smart devices, yet this swift expansion also brings to light vital security hazards. IoT setups are susceptible to cyber risks like Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, unauthorised access, malware infections, and data breaches. This owes mostly to frail encryption, power-limited gadgets, and the absence of standardized security protocols. While diverse safeguards, including chain validation, intrusion safeguard, and AI-propelled hazard detection have been suggested, challenges persist in expansion, effectiveness, and deployment across assorted IoT environments. This paper offers an extensive examination of IoT vulnerabilities, critiques prevailing protection tactics, and introduces a multi-tiered security system combining lightweight encryption, AI-driven anomaly recognition, and adherence to legal standards. By connecting gap between theoretical research and practical deployment, this study contributes to the development of more resilient and adaptive IoT security solutions in a globally connected environment

Key Words
