Abstract

Water is an indispensable resource for sustaining life, ecological balance, and socio-economic development. In urbanizing countries like India, increasing population densities, educational infrastructure, and sanitation needs have accelerated water consumption and the generation of domestic wastewater. When not treated appropriately, this sewage becomes a critical environmental hazard, polluting rivers, contaminating groundwater, and endangering public health.
