Title

Women-Centric Web Series: A Comparative Study of Two Popular Shows

Abstract

This study examines the representation of women and their impact on audiences by comparing two highly acclaimed women-centric web series. By analyzing their themes, characters, and reception, the paper explores how these series challenge stereotypes, inspire empowerment, and foster gender awareness. A mixed-method approach, combining content analysis and audience surveys, was employed to understand the similarities and differences in their portrayal of women’s issues. The findings reveal that while both series contribute significantly to gender discourse, their approaches and effectiveness vary, highlighting the diverse ways media can influence societal perceptions of women.
