African culture and philosophy are fundamental pillars for understanding the societies of the continent and its diaspora. Both reflect a worldview centred on collectivity, ancestry, and the interdependence between man and nature. This article aims to analyse the main characteristics of African culture and philosophy, highlighting their values, forms of expression, and relevance in the contemporary context. Using a theoretical-reflective approach, it discusses how African philosophical thought emerges from community and spiritual experience, relating to cultural, religious, and social practices that shape African identity. It concludes that culture and philosophy in Africa are inseparable dimensions, as both express the search for meaning, harmony, and human dignity.
